He is survived by: his wife Peggy Delores Mixon Gibson of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Rodney Gerald Shipp of Mobile, AL, Ginger Gibson Dupree (Chris) of Daphne, AL and Jason Carl Shipp (Jennifer) of Lillian, AL; his siblings, George Calvin Gibson (Margaret) of Semmes, AL and Sherry Ann Norman (Tommy) of Turnerville, AL; his grandchildren, Zackary Ryan Gibson (Emily), Courtney Leann Singleton (Jake), Caroline Elizabeth Shipp and Sarah Lynn Shipp; and his great grandchildren, Carter Ryan Gilbert, Arya Parker Gilbert, Ember Rayne Gilbert and Adalyn Reese Gilbert.
