He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Arthur Bryars, Jr. and Annie Irene Munnerlyn Bryars; his wife Evelyn Nelson Bryars; his sons, Hal Bryars of Daphne and Larry Bryars (Vicki) of Montgomery; his grandsons, Paul (Jill) of Daphne, Nick (Krysta) of Des Moines and John (Allison) of Opelika; and his great grandchildren, Roc, Gus and Mac of Des Moines.
