She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Pierce and Lucille Pierce; her husband Doug Mixon; and her siblings, Jerry Pierce, Gary Pierce, Rex Pierce and Iris Jean Ryals.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Stewart (Todd) of Bay Minette, AL and Ashley Blackburn (Chris) of Little River, AL.; her siblings, Bill Pierce of Elsanor, AL and JoAnna Glover (Denson) of Rosinton, AL; and her boyfriend Charles Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
