He is survived by: his wife Pearl Flowers Moorer of Phillipsville; his children, George Franklin Moorer (Rhonda) of Phillipsville, Shelia Denise Cooper of Bay Minette, AL, Ulmer Keith Moorer (Jean) of Stockton, AL and Gregory Scott Golightly of Phillipsville; his siblings, Walter Moorer (Judy), Margaret Ruth Wallace of Crossroads and Dale Akins of Bay Minette, AL; and his grandchildren, Jordan Bryant (Matt), Logan Moorer, Morgan Vangelder (J. T.), John Tyler Pierce (Shelley), Brian Cooper (Callie), Cody Moorer (Joana), Christopher Cooper (Lyndsey) and Addison Moorer (A. O.). He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norris Funeral Home (402 E 2nd St, Bay Minette, AL 36507). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
