He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Edna Welch. He is survived by: his brothers, Manford Welch, Tom Welch, Leroy Welch and David Welch; his children, Jimmy Ray "Ricki" Welch of Birmingham, AL. and Darlene Homan (Duane) of Bay Minette, AL.; his siblings, James Welch (Judy), Eugene Welch (Bobbi) and Lois Sanks of Bay Minette; and his grandchildren, Andrew Odom, Derek Homan and Josh Odom.
