He is survived by: his wife Louella Cox; his children, Dannell Sirmon, Steven Cox and Julie Wessler; his stepsons, Jerry Busbee, James Sirmon and Jason Sirmon; and his sisters, Betty Jane McCready, Jeanie Smith, Audrey Schultheis and Rhoda Bell. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Autism Society of America.
