He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Roland Baxter and Katie Ann Barnes Baxter; his wife Shelly Baxter; his children, Michael Keith Baxter (Michelle), Katelyn Baxter, Wade Baxter, Kristin Clark and Kaci McCoy; his grandchildren, Eli Darden, Zoey Darden, Anna Grace Davis, Ethan Vaughn, Hannah Vaughn and Natalliegh Martinez; his mother Annette Caten; his siblings, Mike Baxter, Roland Caten (Tracy Eitzelword), Glenn Gilley (Dotty), Susan Gilley Smith and Heather Kemp (Todd); and his nieces and nephews, Patrick Gilley, Heath Gilley, Heather Dantzler and Elaina Fairow.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairhope Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Fairhope Baptist Church Cemetery.
