He is survived by: his wife Pamela Diedtrich Thompson; his son Clayton DeWayne Thompson of Bay Minette, Alabama.; his grandson Hayden Bryce Thompson of Bay Minette; and his siblings, Mary Kathryn Thompson Roche, Cynthia Janice Thompson Walker, Judith Anne Thompson Flowers (Wayne Flower), Opal Doris Thompson Miller (Don Miller) and Robert Kevin Thompson (Marsha Thompson). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
