With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean McLain (Bay Minette, Alabama), who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edwin Harwood (Big Daddy) and Mildred Harwood (Big Momma); her husband Grady "Cecil" McLain Jr.; her sisters, Thelma Holley, Ethel Massey, Edwina Burke and Stella Broome; and her children, Michael (Angie), Mitchell (Nancy), Michelle Peterson (Don) and Bart (Carla). She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
