He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Caldwell and Jane Caldwell. He is survived by: his former wife Carol; his wife Linda Caldwell; his brother Jack Caldwell; his daughters, Andrea Johnson (Jesse) and Erin Garrod (John); and his stepchildren, Shannon Wilson (Kevin) and Aubrey Lunsford (Michelle). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Skip's memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
