He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray Owen and Jo Margaret Moore Owen; his wife Terry Ann Gibson Owen; and his nephew James R. Owen, III. He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Owen (Peggy), James Ray Owen Jr. (Shelley) and Lee Wilson Owen; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Owen Peyer, Chandler D. Hazelwood (Kati), Robert A. Jones (Trish), Benjamin M. Jones, Chad Z. Ryan (Joanne), Kevin S. Ryan (Leslie) and Margaret Ryan Diedtrich (Jeff). He is also survived by 18 great nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family request a donation be made in Al's memory to First Baptist Church, PO Box 1628, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
