He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Ezell; and his parents, Hollis Franks and Kathleen Fisher Franks. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Franks of Bankston; his sons, Michael Franks of Fayette, James Franks (Debbie) of Haleyville, Ricky Franks (Sabrina) of Bankston and Zalen Franks of Bankston; and his siblings, Ronnie Franks, Robbie Franks, Barbara Griffiths, Betty Connell, Sue Perritt and Marie Robinson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
