He is survived by: his parents, William Bryan Simpson and JoAnn Garrison; his children, Coty Simpson (Amanda) and Tristan Simpson; his brother Scott Simpson (Jerri Lyn); and his grandchildren, Carson Simpson, Connor Yocum, Eva Boyle and Noah Boyle.
