He was predeceased by: his parents, Evacile Simpson and George T. Simpson Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Simpson; his children, Janet Costello (Todd), Georgia Simpson Watts and Scott Burkhalter (Pamela); his siblings, Joan Tyner and William B. Simpson; his grandchild Taylor Burkhalter; and his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Costello and Katelyn Costello. He is also survived by his family and friends.
