With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Nell Lowery of Bankston, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Sands and Donia Sands; her son-in-law Jimmy Feltman; and her siblings, Lewis Sands, Luther Sands, Fred Sands and Melba Kuykendall.

She is survived by: her husband Marshall Lowery; her children, Marty Lowery (Jo) and Jeannie Feltman; her grandsons, Jeremy Lowery (Lane) and Kyle Lowery (Alicia); her great grandchildren, Kristen Sexton (Will), Banks Lowery and Jax Lowery; and her siblings, Ted Sands (Beverly) and Ruthie Feltman (Melvin). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
