He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Whitson of Bankston; his children, Scott Whitson of Berry, Angie Whitson of Berry, Tracey Whitson of Fayette and Kelly McDonald of Nauvoo; and his siblings, Milford Whitson of Bankston, Patricia Milligan of Berry, Wanda Brown of Fayette and Rose Cope. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
