She was predeceased by: her husband John Dick Barr, Jr.; her father Evan C. Williams; and her brother Evan S. Williams (Louise). She is survived by: her children, John Dick Barr III and Suzanne Clemmons (Mike); her grandchildren, Aaron Barr (Jillian), Hunter Compton (Shelia), Jud Compton and Macon Clemmons; and her great grandchildren, Brittany Shumack (Chris), Shawn Ichiro Compton, Tyler Shogo Compton, Baine Compton, Josie Claire Compton, Barrett Compton, Aaron Joseph Barr, Jr., Cole Sanders, Sheldan Sanders and John Baxley Sanders. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her honor to the Brundidge United Methodist Women (C/O Brundidge United Methodist Church 140 North Main Street, Brundidge, AL 36010).
