It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Hopkins of Banks, Alabama, born in Brundidge, Alabama, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Maverick Arnett; her parents, Clem Thrash and Grace Thrash; her siblings, Norajean Douglas and Rayvon Thrash; her siblings-in-law, Peggy Thrash and Waymond Douglas; and her close friend Tripp.
She is survived by: her husband Dane Hopkins, Sr.; her children, Kenny Bullock (Angel), Sonya Shirley, Stacy Ellis (Rickey), Tracy Bullock (Tonisha), Dane Hopkins, Jr. and Tako Berends (Bobby); and her siblings, Leon Thrash, Bill Thrash, Joe Thrash and Dot Norris (Aaron). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Richland Baptist Church Cemetery Fund (808 County Road 4415, Brundidge, AL 36010).
