He is survived by: his wife Sara Bates Pruett; his sister Lea Ellen Smith (Ronald); his children, Christopher Bates Pruett, Kelly Smith (Heith) and Joey Pruett; his grandchildren, Haylee Smith, Allison Pruett, Krystn Pruett and Bryant Pruett; his great grandchild Finley Jo Whitworth; and his close friend Rudy.
