It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Meherg of Baileyton, Alabama, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lem Meherg and Lena Belle Melhorne. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue Hyatt Meherg; and his children, Sandra Meherg Myrick, Richard Meherg, Edward Meherg (Rebecca), Phillip Meherg and Brinkley Meherg (Laurie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and four siblings.
