It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lynn Elkins of Baileyton, Alabama, born in Guntersville, Alabama, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samuel Elkins and Louise Evans Ledbetter; his stepfather Emmett Leslie Ledbetter; and his brother Donald "Bug" Ledbetter. He is survived by: his siblings, John Ledbetter (Malisa Beasley) and Lesley Jackson.
