She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Strong Thomas (Greg) and Sonya Strong Phillips (Keith); her brother Jimmy Slaughter; and her grandchildren, Devin Phillips (Julie) and Xan Thomas Smith (David). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
