He was predeceased by: his father Elbert Holloway; and his adoptive father Walter Lowe. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jordan Lowe; his mother Hilda Swann Lowe; his son David O'Neil Lowe, Jr.; his stepchildren, Rick Milliken (Heidi), Stevie Dixon, Donny Dixon, Monica Tucker (Jimmy) and Diane Medders (Brent); and his siblings, Phillip Holloway, Gwina Creekmore and Rachel. He is also survived by one granddaughter; six step-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
