He is survived by: his wife Patricia Crump Tyus (Patsy); his children, Ted Donald Tyus, Jr. (Bobbie Jo), Janice Tyus Kelly (Jim) and Robert Keith Tyus (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Lauren Tyus Dilaj (Pawel), Robert Brett Tyus (Jenny), Hannah Tyus, Lindsey Kelly Whitlock (Mark), Elizabeth Kelly Cornett (Josh), Taylor Tyus and Dr. Morgan Tyus Fisher (Billy). He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
