He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Whitson and Eva Mae Motley Johnson; his sons, Wayne Milton Johnson and Craig Alvin Johnson; and his siblings, William Carson Johnson, Dr. Edward Lewis Johnson, Dr. Herbert Cecil Johnson, Annie Wilda Johnson, Edith Mae Johnson and Edna Grace Johnson Smedley.
He is survived by: his son Judge Paul Whitson Johnson; his grandchildren, Logan Milton Johnson, Blake O'Dell Johnson, Grant Whitson Johnson and Hope Leigh Johnson; his daughter-in-law Ivy O'Dell Johnson; and his siblings, Dr. Marvin Wade Johnson (Jennie) and Mildred Ann Johnson Combs (Robert).
