He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Alice Johnson (Woody), Alvin Stewart and Aaron Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Fatima Clifford Middlebrooks; his children, Cindy Middlebrooks, Paul Middlebrooks (Suzy), Walter Middlebrooks (Tania) and Peggy Goins (Curtis); his grandchildren, Michael Turner, Matthew Turner (Michelle), Dawson Middlebrooks and Alli Middlebrooks; his great grandchildren, Addie, Leah, Isaac, Camryn and Caylyn Turner; and his siblings, Wayne Stewart (Elaine), Janet Evans (Merrill), Noodle Taylor, Ercille Dixon and Jenny Lawrence. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
