He was predeceased by: his parents, Donovan Copeland and Mildred Copeland; his wife Judy Pollard Copeland; his brother Jimmy Copeland; and his son Donovan Clay Copeland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Copeland and Maury Rusk (Kevin); his grandchildren, Haleigh Rusk and Hunter Rusk; his aunt Dorothy Drake of Sydney, NY; and his brother-in-law Bobby Harrold. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
