She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Joseph Alverson, Jr.; her children, Jay Alverson (Leanne) and Amy Lyons (Leonard) of Columbus, GA; her grandchildren, Forrest, Peyton, Carson Alverson and Christiana Lyons; and her sister Marie Chandler of Cullman, AL. She is also survived by 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
