He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Sherman Talkington and Mary F. Talkington (Esmond); his wife Rebecca Phelan Talkington; his sons, Scott R. Talkington (Elizabeth) of Montgomery and Wade B. Talkington (Juliann) of Tucson, Arizona; and also, Robert Leslie Talkington and Ella Talkington (Glass). He was also cherished by the two granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Auburn United Methodist Church in Auburn, Alabama, where Dad and Mom were members for more that forty-five years.
