With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Gruver (Auburn, Alabama), who passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Col. Elvin E. Gruver; and her siblings, Jack, Peggy and Sophie. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Gruver of Vancouver, BC and Kenneth Gruver (Tammy) of Waverly, AL.; her grandchildren, Hayden Isherwood of Vancouver, BC, Sebastian Isherwood-Gruver of Vancouver, BC, Sloan Gruver of Waverly, AL. and Jillian Gruver of Waverly, AL.; her nieces and nephews, Susanne Shipley, Lisa Balmer, Leslie Black, Stephen Yeldell and Paul Yeldell; and also Barbara Whatley. She is also survived by Her father died in 1941, leaving four children.
