We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2021, at the age of 99, Sallie Cobb Thomas of Auburn, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Jean Thomas of Auburn, AL; her granddaughter Bettina Jean Martin (Patrick J.) of Lithonia, GA; her great grandchild Alandra Danielle Martin of Atlanta, GA; and her sisters-in-law, Lula Cowden (Luther), Katherine Ellout and Odessa Stinson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
