It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roderick Wiley Jones of Auburn, Alabama, born in Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmore Morgan and Homer Jones. He is survived by: his parents, Paul O. Jones and Romonia Morgan Jones; his children, Trey Jones of Auburn, AL and Morgan Jones Nxumalo (Bongani) of Eswatini, Africa; his grandson Jonathan Nxumalo; and his siblings, Sharon Jones Edwards and Dale A. Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice at Auburn University.
