It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard H Phelan of Auburn, Alabama, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Phelan and MaryKay Phelan; and his wife Edna Moore Phelan of Valentine's Day. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Parkman (Mark), Lindsay Dendy (David) and Scott Phelan Todd (Holly); his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Dendy, Alex Parkman, Lyla Phelan, Conner Phelan, Will Parkman, Davis Dendy, Riley Phelan, Charlie Richard Parkman, Bennett Phelan and Ella Claire Dendy; and his brother Jerry Phelan. He is also survived by friends.
