She was predeceased by: her husband George F. Herndon; her daughter Karen H. Wilkins; her brothers, J. B. Montgomery and Robert Montgomery; and her parents, W. B. Montgomery and Eva Drummond Montgomery.
She is survived by: her son George Herndon (Cil); her sister Mary Cleveland; her grandchildren, Christie Herndon Guffey (Brad), Amy Herndon Manguso (Chris), Carrie Herndon Heath (Anthony), Tanya Wilkins Nichols (Brent) and Chad Wilkins (Mandy); and her nephew Chris Cleveland. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
