She is survived by: her husband Luke Aplin; her children, Pruett Aplin and Merritt Drake Aplin; her parents, Jeffery Dunn and Tina Sanderlin Dunn; her brother Blake Dunn (Emily); her parents-in-law, Sonny and Jane Aplin; her sister-in-law Magan Yon (Nolan); and her nieces and nephews, Conley, Ramer Dunn, Sam, Conner Wallace, Layla and Lawson Yon. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins.

“Luke, Magan, Sonny, Jane & Meredith's parents, words cannot express how deeply sorry & saddened I am for your loss. I don’t know Meredith well, but I know she was special because Sonny & Jane & most of all Luke loved her tremendously. I know she was unique because God gave her to the Dunn’s. I know it is going to be difficult going forward for a while.
