He is survived by: his former wives, Catherine Chapman Byerly and Bobbie Hoppes Byerly; his children, Karen Parker (Jim) and Richard M. Byerly (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Kevin Parker, Katrina Lyon and Justin Byerly (Vanessa).
