He was predeceased by: his parents, Manley Eugene and Bertie Mae Hollingsworth; his daughter-in-law Sharon Hicks; and his grandson Jacob Ross Harris. He is survived by: his wife Essie Mae Hollingsworth; his children, Danny Hicks, Garry Hicks (Ginger), Cindy Lewis (Jerry) and Becky Harris (Doug); and his grandchildren, Kim Holmes (Mark), Shane Hicks (Christy), Amy Riggs Moore (Jason), Kyle Dunlap, Blake Lewis (Carlee) and Jessica Beard (Shelton).
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Jacob Harris Memorial Scholarship at Wallace State Community College or First United Methodist Church.
