It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Woodman Blakney R. N. (Auburn, Alabama), who passed away on February 26, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her spouses, Blakney Scotia and William G.; her daughters, Dawn Blakney Pierce (Roger) and Carollyne Blakney; her grandchildren, Troy Blakney Pierce (Gee), Travis Brandon Pierce (Anna Kathryn), Jamie Austin Pierce, Haley Pierce Clark (Jon), Taylor Christianson Pierce, Aleyia Jasmine Pierce, Sanny Blakney and Brian Blakney; and also Nova Scotia. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Presbyterian Community Ministries and/or Habitat for Humanity.
