He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Malcolm L. Marsh Sr. and Louise Bell Marsh; his wife Wanda Mitchell Marsh of Auburn; his daughter Nancy Day; his son-in-law Jack Day; his children, Susan Marsh and Malcolm Marsh III; and his daughter-in-law Melissa Marsh. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
