He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Derrick Pitts (Brenda) of Opelika, AL; his grandchildren, Felicia Dancey (Fredrick), Dereka Dunn (Lance), Brittany Walton (Lee), Mario Heard (Latasha), Derrick Pitts, II (Shula) and Breanna Okoye; and his sisters, Dorothy Stephens of Auburn, AL and Catherine Walters of Detroit, MI. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
