He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Moss; his children, Torelanda Menefield, Sr. (Tiffany) of Loachapoka, AL, Lashunda Menefield of Auburn, AL, Chalika Menefield (Zahir) of Atlanta, GA, Kelvin Hill of Auburn, AL and Kendrick Hill of Auburn, AL; his grandchildren, Zaria Lockhart, Shunteria Cooks, Alexius Morgan, Cameron Morgan, Torelanda Menefield, Jr., Kashanti Hill, Ka'mauri Hill and Kelvin Hill, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Jayden Straugh, Leilani, Tobias Menefield and Milo Goods; his brother John Moss (Wyvonia) of LaFayette, AL; his siblings-in-law, Susie Brown (Timothy) of Auburn, AL, Joe M. Thompson of Camp Hill, AL, Henry Hill of Auburn, AL and Tony Hill of Auburn, AL; his aunts and uncles, Evangelist Brenda Maddox (Michael) of Waverly, AL, Ella Varner of Waverly, AL, Dora Finley of LaFayette, AL, Jessie Webb, JT Moss (Joyce) of Camp Hill, AL and Henry Sands of Jackson's Gap, AL; his nieces, Lawanda Shaw, Jasmine Williams and Shatoya Gollate; and his nephew Keon Golatte. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (4881 S College St, Auburn, AL 36832). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Mt. Zion East Baptist Church Cemetery (4881 S College St, Auburn, AL 36832).
