She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Ward; her son Larry Ward (Deborah); and her sister Jean Orsmond. She is survived by: her parents, John Whipple and Helen Whipple; her children, Leigh Nix and Jimmy Ward (Rachel); and her grandchildren, Megan Nissen (Robert), Rachel Robinson (Seth), Rebecca Ward (Tony), Michael Nix (Candace), Russ Neese (Shannon), Zachary Ward and James Ward.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
