She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne H. Martin; and her sister Shelba Couch. She is survived by: her daughter Joy Martin Samford (Bobby); her grandchildren, Amanda Joy Samford, Chase Maxwell Samford and Robert Clayton Samford; her sister Mildred Murrell (Gene); and her brother-in-law Reverend H.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to GCIM-Hosanna Home Orphanage/School, India. (3418 Double Eagle Lane, Opelika, Alabama 36801) Frederick-Dean Funeral Home is directing.
