He is survived by: his wife Donna Long; his son Jeff Arant; his brother Sonny Long (Beth); his nephew Russ Long; his niece Beth Long; his aunt Caroline McConnell (Jack); his pet Molly; and his close friends, Doug and Edie Johnson.
In lieu of flowers the family request that a donation be made to the Lee County Humane Society.
