It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Franklin Norton of Auburn, Alabama, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Franklin leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Earl L. Norton (Julia) of Auburn, AL and Phyllis Edwards of Apopka, FL.; his nephews, Tony Norton, Daniel Norton, David Edwards and Charlie Edwards; and his friend Amy Krietemeyer.
