He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Kim Bell; his granddaughter Aria; his father Billy Ray Henderson; his daughter Courtney Watkins (Matt); his mother Jackie Henderson (Kim Bell); his siblings, Ray Henderson (Cathy) and Amy Banks (Harold); his granddaughter Morgan Sides; and his stepson Brian Richardson. He was also cherished by his niece and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to New Hope Rescue, Toys for Tots, or the American Diabetes Association.
