James Edward Brewer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 50, James Edward Brewer of Auburn, Alabama, born in Opelika, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Harold" Brewer and Cynthia "Cindy" Jane Hurst Brewer; his nephew TJ Hall; his grandparents, Vernon Brewer, Mattie Lee Brewer, Melvin Hurst and Evelyn Hurst; and his pet Baxter "Baby Boy".
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Barnes Brewer; his daughters, Teri Brewer (Will) and Nicole Brewer; his stepchildren, Sean McGuire (Erin), Jameson McGuire and Colin Peters; his grandchildren, Ella, Emelia, Oliver and Olive; his stepgrandchildren, Anyssa, Dallas and Jet; his siblings, Christopher Brewer, Wayne Brewer and Stephanie Brewer; his uncle Tony Brewer; his sister Christina Brewer; his niece Brittany Simpson; his nephew Brad Simpson (Hannah); and his cousins, Steven Brewer (Ashley), Marsha Brewer Bond (Tim), Stephen, Amanda McClain, Terrye Brewer, Kelly Roberts, Teri Brewer and Will Jernigan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Ridge Road Church (5474 Lee County Rd 390, Opelika, AL 36804).
