With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Helmke (Auburn, Alabama), who passed away on November 25, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Henry leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Henry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Helmke and Henry Helmke; his sister Gerda Raleigh; and his daughter Marilyn. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Grier; and his sons, Rick (Pam), Tom (Kim) and Rob (Roselle). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Auburn First Presbyterian Church (143 E Thach Ave, Auburn, AL 36830).
