He is survived by: his wife Virginia Shealey of Loachapoka, AL; his children, Darrin Shealey (Felicia) of Valley, AL, Jacqueline Shealey of Loachapoka, AL, Nathaniel Shealey (Lisa) of Phenix City, AL and Hamp Tolbert of Bergenfield, NJ; and his grandchildren, Danissia Shealey, Myeshia Shealey, Ladarrin Shealey, Alicia Jones, Orlandra Bennett, Dontavious Shealey, Angel Shealey, Brandon Shealey (Leeza), Akilah Shealey, Ashton Shealey, Nicholas Shealey, Karsyn Shealey and Ayden Shealey. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Traveler Missionary Baptist Church (1229 Dawson Ave S, Waverly, AL 36879). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
