We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2021, at the age of 94, Grady Cox of Auburn, Alabama, born in Ayden, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Claire Ransom Cox; his parents, Annie Cox and George D. Cox; and his siblings, Dr. George E. Cox, William B. Cox, Ronald Cox and Margaret Cox Crawford.
He is survived by: his children, Jani Jones (George) and Keith (Kay); his grandchildren, Dr. Brad Jones and Claire Smith (Bogue); and his stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth Brown (Jim) and Brennan Moss (Erin). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Auburn UMC Mercy Fund or the charity of your choice.
